PCYC Townsville in Aitkenvale.
Another great event supporting local families,
thanks to Mercy Community and Townsville City Council.
There will be a range of local product and service providers on hand to help you and your family prepare for back to school.
Confirmed Services include:
COVID-19 Pop Up Hub | Information about COVID-19 Vaccinations Vaccinations |
Enrolment Support | Volunteers will be available to help people fill in enrolment forms TMSG will be around on the day if people need help with translations A representative of Education available to answer any questions |
Justice of the Peace | JPs will be available to sign statutory declarations for proof of address JPs will be available for other documentation |
Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages | Support registering children for free Free birth certificates to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander parents who register their child on the day and their child is 0 to 5 years old |
Family Emergency Accommodation Townsville (FEAT) | Free school supplies including school bags and water bottles Support accessing Zephyr for families who’ve experienced domestic violence Case worker to talk to about support needs |
North Townsville Community Hub (NOTCH) | School supplies Support with birth certificates Support accessing GIVIT Workers to talk to about support needs |

Community donations | Community members and organisations are encouraged to go through their cupboards this Christmas time and find uniforms, shoes and school supplies that they no longer need. These will be provided to the community for free. |
