Townsville comes alive in “winter” and we use the term loosely in the north, with our AMAZING 24 degree days, it truly is a tropical winter wonderland!
With winter comes event season and so you may have heard about The North Australian Festival of Arts (or NAFA), but what is it exactly?
NAFA is for the first time bringing together ALL the great festivals and events being held as part of Townsville Festival of Stories, Strand Ephemera 2019 and Northern Fringe Festival under the one big beautiful banner.
There is just so much to see and to do and to take the family to!
As a busy mum I totally get it, there are so many points of reference for what’s on and where to go and then you have to find the events that are family friendly among all the info out there…well I figured I would go and do that for you……
As I scrolled through all the guides, programs and sites, I have come up with my personal mum picks for the littlest people in our world (0-12), from A to Z and you’ll find them all inside our Townsville Family Life Event Calendar
(please note that the Erth’s Dinosaurs that shows July 28 to Aug 3 is omitted due to it’s parental guidance for those under 15 recommended status)
