6 WEEKS TO CRAWLERS
Come play in our super fun gym! The gym will be adapted for babies from 6 weeks old and crawling babies.
This is not a regular structured session: just come have fun in the gym.
$11 for 1 hour of fun.
You can swing, bounce, practice tummy time, crawl climb and have lots of fun.
Every child above 6 weeks old need a ticket. Adult don’t need a ticket.
Older kids (up to 5 years old) are allowed (they do need a paid ticket) but under strict adult supervision as it is a BABY session.
If the older child is dangerous for the younger children, we will ask you to leave without a refund.
WALKERS TO 5 YEARS
This is not a structured session: just come and have fun in the gym.
$17 for 2 hours of fun.
You can bring younger siblings (from 6 weeks old) but each child entering the play area need a paid ticket.
Bring your family for a day out on the WILD SIDE!
Everyone will have fun getting up close and personal with our friendly native animals.
Feed the ducks, turtles and kangaroos. Hold a lizard or even a baby crocodile.
Pose with a parrot on your arm.
Pat the dingoes as they go on their daily walkabout. Watch the adorable koalas munching on gum leaves.
During the June/July school holidays, Roving Rangers will bring animals to family groups.
Kids can pat Spike the bearded dragon, or feel the soft fur of Blossom the possum.
The twice-daily croc feeding shows are thrilling to watch, as a mighty estuarine crocodile explodes
out of the water to grab its food. Come and meet Krakatoa– at 5.1 metres long, he is the largest
crocodile on mainland Queensland– a monster!
Blinky Bill’s Café offers a tempting array of snacks and meals, including children’s sized portions.
You are also welcome to bring an esky, and take advantage of our free gas barbecues.
Enjoy your meal in one of the shaded picnic areas overlooking the billabong.

TOWNSVILLE MODEL TRAIN PARK – OPEN DAY
Townsville Train Park is a not-for-profit society which provides miniature train rides to the community on the last Sunday of each month.
Excluding December and January.
Trains start running at 10:00 am and finish up sometime between 2:00pm and 3:00pm, depending on customers.

NECK OF THE WOODS MUSIC FESTIVAL
Neck Of The Woods is a family friendly music festival in Townsville,
curated by Neighbourhood Sessions in partnership with the Townsville City Council/Northern Fringe Festival.
Neck of the Woods celebrates Australian original music, and will host a lineup of up and coming Australian artists for a one night only event on the 4th of July in 2021. Neck Of The Woods Music Festival is returning to the community in 2021 after the heartbreaking cancellation of the 2020 festival.

Set in the’ 90s, with plenty of in-jokes and cleverly choreographed nostalgia, parents are in for a rollicking trip down memory lane.

Bursting with high calibre acrobatics, a ton of comedy, live music and high-flying tricks, this show is perfect for little kids and grownups who like a big brass belly laugh!
Performed by powerhouse duo Kyle Raftery and April Dawson (Lunar Circus, Circus Oz) and directed by Malia Walsh (Circus Trick Tease).
This trio of artists are famous for combining circus skills of epic proportion and comedy for all ages.
Recommended for children between 3-10 and grown ups who like a laugh.

Bring the Kids to Empire
The team at Empire Alternacade in Flinders Street open the doors to the younger retro gaming fans for one day each school holidays.
They “de-license” the venue between 10am and 3pm – they take away or cover up all alcohol and make the venue a kid friendly space.
All ages are allowed to attend Empire at these events – adult supervision required for under 13’s.
There is an ATM and change machine on site and a friendly staff member – there’s plenty of arcade + pinball machines to play (all take $1 coins)
