Jezzine Barracks Playground
Location
Corner of Isley and Cook Streets, North Ward

Upon entering the fully fenced playground you are greeted by large metal flower structures at the entrance to a fun soft fall material “hill” to climb up and over into a wonderland of play equipment including
- Rope play/climb and Rope Cargo net climb
- 2 x Flying Foxes (with sand beneath)
- Two small slides
- Rope Suspension bridge
- Nest Swing and Swing with me swing
- Wooden deck that leads to a small astroturf area
- Large green spaces between playground and BBQ area suitable for field sports and play
BBQ facilities
Not directly on site at the playground, but a short walk away there are small structures
that offer up to 5 x double plate BBQs with their own polished concrete long tables and wooden seating
Shade
- Shade sails ove most of the play equipment
- No shade over benches
- Lots of shade trees to counter afternoon sun
Seating
Inside playground – 2 x unshaded benches or sit on one of the fixed 15 x wooden boxes that double as seats
Toilets
Not directly on site, but a short 100m walk towards the Pallarenda view side has 4 x unisex toilets and 1 x unizes disabled/baby change facility
