Wadda Mooli Park

A Lend Lease project in development

On completion, the park will be 4 hectares in total.


15km South East of the Townsville CBD at Elliot Springs and 10km from Fairfield Central.

Type of play equipment – Stage 1

  • All inclusive play ground with a 10m ‘Tree House’

From the park you can also access the first walking and mountain bike trails on Bindal Ridge where you can get views towards Burdekin, Mount Elliot and the Sister Mountains and Cleveland Bay and the City of Townsville.

  • Moongun (Quoll) walking trail is a 4.2km return trail and is rated a Class three trails. The trail has steps in various areas and is not suitable for bicycles or prams.
  • Goodibun (Kangaroo) is the first Mountain bike trail to open and is an anticlockwise loop of 1.36km distance. This track is categorised as Easy.

Stage 2

Stage 2 of Wadda Mooli Park is now complete and includes a community centre and public toilets located between the playground and sports field. The community centre known as Sprout Hub will be available for hire soon.

Stage 3

The final stage of Wadda Mooli Park will include a netball court and tennis court as well as the extension of Wadda Mooli Parkway (loop road) that will add more car parking.
